Eaga has helped first time buyers, Mr and Mrs Collingwood save around £230 a year on their heating bills by installing cavity wall and loft insulation.

Young newlyweds, Jamie and Natalie Collingwood have recently moved into their 3 bedroom semi-detached home in Rotherham. Being first time buyers the couple were concerned about their rising heating bills.

After hearing about the significant cost savings they could make by carrying out some simple insulation measures, the couple contacted Eaga to arrange a free home survey and quotation.

An Eaga Surveyor visited the property to identify if it was suitable for any insulation measures. Following a full survey of their home the couple were pleased to hear that their property was suitable for both cavity wall and loft insulation.

Although they did already have some loft insulation, installers put in another 250mm to ensure that maximum benefit would be gained.

Mr Collingwood commented: "We were given an installation time and date convenient for us, and within a couple of weeks the installers visited our home to carry out the measures. We were very pleased with the work undertaken by Eaga, the installer's were professional and polite, and left no mess, what's more it took them less than a day to install both the cavity wall and loft insulation.

"We have noticed a real difference in the house since we've had the insulation installed. It's much warmer and we have also noticed that we are already saving on our heating bills."
