Survey

The Cavity Wall Installation Process

Step 1: Survey

Following your enquiry, a qualified surveyor will visit your home to check that it is suitable for Cavity Wall Insulation. The surveyor will then provide you with a written straightforward quotation for you to consider.

Step 2: Acceptance and Agreement of Installation Date

Upon your acceptance of the quote, a date will be allocated for
our installers to carry out the work.

Step 3: Day of Installation

  • The team will arrive at the time as indicated to you.

  • They will introduce themselves and provide you with an official form of identification.
  • Our team of fully trained and experienced installers will explain you you the work that will be undertaken and will complete a short internal inspection prior to any work being carried out.
  • They will start the work by drilling a series of small holes through the mortar joints of the brickwork. The holes will be drilled to a pre-determined pattern to ensure a complete fill of the cavity and insulation will then be blown through the holes and fill the entire cavity. After completion the holes will then be filled to match the existing mortar.
  • They will take great care when working on your property and will clean up properly on completion.
  • Most cavity wall installations will take less than half a day to complete depending on the size of the property.
