Our In-house Training Academy

The EagaacademyAt Eaga, we make sure our people receive the training needed to do their job to the highest standard¦

As the UK's leading installers of insulation services nationally, we understand how important it is to have a highly skilled and well trained workforce. In order to achieve this, we have a unique in-house training academy based at a central location in Birmingham, aimed at supporting the professional development and ongoing training of our installers.

We believe that this unique commitment to provide our installers with the best possible training opportunities sets us apart from our competition, and provides some of the best trained installers in the industry.

We aim to ensure that they all possess the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to perform their job to the highest standard and to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations.

The Eaga Academy

The Eaga Academy is the first of its kind to provide a combination of high quality classroom training and practical experience on specially designed rigs to all inexperienced installers of cavity wall insulation, loft insulation and draught proofing.

The academy is staffed by a permanent training team who are hugely experienced and acknowledged as experts in their field, delivering consistent training with captivating energy and enthusiasm. In addition, the installer is supported by the Depot Manager, Depot Supervisor and Quality Inspector.

Training sessions include:

  • Cavity Wall, Loft Insulation and Draught Proofing installation training
  • Health & Safety
  • Delivering Service Excellence
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Equality and Diversity
  • Quality
  • Transport (including Driving Assessments)
  • Digital Tachograph Training

An installer will not graduate from the academy until they have passed both a written and practical assessment to demonstrate that they can work independently. Upon successful completion of their training programme, all installers also work towards completion of the CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) carding programme and they continue to receive regular training updates on Health & Safety, Customer Service, Quality, and new products/ diversification.
